Wayne "Spider" Morris Baker

Wayne “Spider” Morris Baker, age 73, of Somerset, Kentucky, passed from this life on Saturday, February 18, 2023 at his home.  Wayne was born on May 10, 1949 to Norman Morris Baker and Cleo Phillips Baker in Oneida, Tennessee. 
He was of the Baptist faith, a member of the KBA Bikers Association and AMVETS #125. He was a truck driver for over 40 years, he enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and drinking a beer with friends.
  
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Norman (Patricia) “Pat” Clifton Baker and Cleo Baker and brother, Norman “Eddie” Baker. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, daughters, Lesley Baker of Somerset, Ky; Belinda Baker of Bronston, Ky; son, Dwayne Baker of Winfield, TN; sisters, Valery (Archie) Haney of Murray, Ky; nephew, Dylan Mahon; grandchildren, Tristian Hansford, Blake Spaw, Tyson Coffey, Kigeaun Coffey and great-grandson, Micah Cain Hansford; and loved like a son, Anthony Phillips.  

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. in the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home with a funeral service to begin at 2 P.M. at the funeral home with Bro. Tim Ogle and Bro. Doug Stanley officiating. Burial will follow in Southern Oaks Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wayne Morris Baker Memorial Fund.
