Thelma L. (Jeffers) Harness

Thelma L. (Jeffers) Harness, age 78 of Robbins, TN passed away on Tuesday, September 27, 2022, at Ft. Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. She was born on February 3, 1944, to the late Arvalee and Lassie Jeffers. She was a member of the West Robbins Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Harness; her siblings, Nadine Bybee, Wanda Walker, Wilma Allen, Eddie Jeffers, and Paul Jeffers.

She is survived by her sisters, Kay (Scott) McCann and Norva Jeffers; her brothers, Buddy (Barb) Jeffers, Arthur (Pat) Jeffers, and Odis Jeffers; her one and only son, Troy Harness and wife Katherine; grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler) Carroll, Brittany Harness and Nick Anders, Claudia Harness, and Nicholas Webb; great grandchildren, Baylie, Peyton, Madison and Sawyer Carroll, Lucas, Annaleigha and Ashlynn Anders; special friends, Betty Robbins and June Jeffers; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Harness family on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Scott McCann, Bro. Brian Strunk, and Bro. Dudley Harness officiating. Music will be provided by Martha Hamby and the West Robbins Church choir.

Committal service will be on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 12 p.m. in the Harness Cemetery in the Mountain View community. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
