Stella Sharlona Byrge Obituary

Stella Sharlona Byrge, age 72, of Robbins, TN passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2022. Born July 3, 1949 in Robbins, TN. Daughter of Herman and Lillian (Honeycutt) Hamby. Attended school in Robbins and Scott County High School. United in marriage to Daniel Lee Byrge Jr. on October 16, 1967. Together with Daniel they relocated to Belvidere, IL for employment. Employed by General Electric in the quality department until her retirement. Stella found great enjoyment in gardening and canning from the garden, growing roses and flowers, shopping for dolls and antiques, going to garage sales and flea markets. She was a collector of many things especially dolls of any kind and glassware. She also enjoyed traveling with friends to Las Vegas, going on a cruise with her daughter and even having traveled to Germany. Trips back home to Tennessee were frequent to see family. After retirement they did relocate back to Robbins to be close to family.

Predeceased by her parents, Herman and Lillian Hamby; brothers, H.J "Skip" Hamby and Larry Hamby; and daughter, Rhonda Beasley.

Survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Daniel; children, Tammie Davis and Jeremy (Holli) Byrge; grandchildren, Beaux Fowler and his significant other, Bethanie Baxter, Rusty (Katherine) Fowler, Christopher Davis, Reise Davis, Tyler Byrge, Jacob Byrge; great-grandchildren, Braxton Fowler, Wyatt Fowler, Waylon Fowler; siblings, Gary Hamby and Brenda Newberry; lifelong friend, Norman Huckabee; special dog, Buddy; many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be on Thursday, April 14, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the Honeycutt Cemetery in Robbins with Bro. Charlie Golden officiating.
