Nova LaShain Rain Jones

Nova LaShain Rain Jones, age 12 of Oneida, TN passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, peacefully at home with her family. She was born on Sunday, May 25, 2014, in Crossville, TN to Katelin Tequilla Jones. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her great grandparents, Ruble and Charlotte Sexton and Hollis and Imojean Kidd and a very special great aunt, Regina Chambers.

Nova is survived by her mother, Katelin Jones and her little sister, Nevaeh Jones; her grandparents, Malinda Jones and Shain Higgins; great grandparents, Earl Sexton and Tina Sexton; a great uncle, Anthony Sexton and wife Tamera; uncle, Travis Jones and wife Lakeisha; uncles, Dalton Jones, Raven Jones and Isaac Jones; special aunt, Mya Jones, who helped with Nova a lot; many other family members, special cousins and friends. A special thanks to her nurse, Buffy Daugherty and bath aide, Olivia Sweeney of UT Hospice.

Friends may visit with the Jones family on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 4:30 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 6 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jody Harness officiating.
