Nona Jeffers

Nona Lee Jeffers, born on April 28, 1947, to the late Crawford and Beulah Jeffers, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her nephew, Patrick Jeffers; brothers, Phillip Jeffers and Gregory Jeffers; and brother-in-law, Brent Robinson.

She is survived by her sister, Rubv Robinson; brothers, Gary Jeffers, Jerry Jeffers, Roger Jeffers, Jason Jeffers and wife Patty, all of the Winona community, Homer Jeffers and wife Phyllis of the Robbins community; nephew, Daniel Blevins (Donnie); nieces, Nancy Slaven (Dustin), Michelle Harness; great nephew, Titus Slaven (Paige); great nieces, Cheyenne Slaven, Sara West (Dallas); special great-great nephews, Ancil and Harmon West; special aunts, Onnie Newport and Wanda Newport; special cousins, Lora Lay, Canaan and Clairee Lay; special caregivers, Allie and Jessie Walker; life-long friends, Reda Crowley and family; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Jeffers family on Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Griffith and Bro. Carlie Duncan officiating. Music will be provided by Dallas West and the Winona Choir.

Committal service will follow in the Jeffers Hilltop Cemetery in the Winona community. Pallbearers will be: Daniel Blevins, Titus Slaven, Dustin Slaven, Canaan Lay, Lester Lawson, and Doug Queener. Honorary pallbearers will be: Jerry, Roger, and Gary Jeffers.
