Nathan Jay Hill, age 42 of Knoxville, TN passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at Tennova North of Knoxville. He was born in Oak Ridge, TN on September 17, 1983.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Jayden Nathaniel Hill; maternal grandmother, Maxie Louise Shoopman; maternal grandfather, Donald Miller Shoopman; uncle, Roger Dale Shoopman; cousin, Jessica (Jessie) Lisa Marie Smith-Shoopman; paternal grandfather, Ben Hill; paternal grandmother, Wilda Mae Hill; uncle, Billy Ray Hill; uncle, Robert Lee Watson; aunts, Orangie Hill-Winchester, Letha Mae Hill-Slaven, and Veda Watson; cousins, Anthony Shannon Boutwell, Jeffrey Watson, Michael Eugene Watson, Gregory Paul Babb, April Dawn Reynolds, Kimberly Renee Winchester; uncle, Lee Roy Brewer; stepdad, Darwin Lee Minton; uncles, Bill Winchester Junior and Jim Slaven.

Friends may visit with the Hill family on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Duvall officiating.
Committal service will follow in the Davey Boyatt Cemetery in the Foster Crossroads community. Pallbearers will be: Douglas Allen Brown, Billy Kyle Roach, Ben Hill, Preston Hill, Jordan Keck, Luke Lanigan, Dustin Lanigan, and Issac Martin.
