Mildred Roysden Obituary

Mildred Drucilla Phillips Roysden, age 75 of Oneida, TN passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at her home. Born in Oneida, TN on September 16, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Riley and Flora Marie Acres Phillips. She was a member of Paint Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Roy L. Neal; second husband, Milford Ira Roysden; brothers, Elbert Phillips, Herbert Phillips, Otho Phillips, James Phillips, and Lloyd Phillips; sisters, Novella Kidd and Shella Kay Sexton; great grandson, Easton Byrd; and sister-in-law, Kathleen Phillips.

She is survived by her son, Dennie Neal and wife Lesley Boyatt Neal; daughter, Missy Foster; stepson, Wayne and Sheila Roysden; stepdaughter, Jayne Roysden; sister, JoAnn Boyatt; brother, Carmer Phillips and wife Sandra; granddaughters, Whitney and Kris Byrd, Kailey and Rane Bradley, Rilee Foster, Allie Neal, Gracie Foster, Delaney Neal; step granddaughter, Hallie and Brian Daugherty; step grandsons, Dustin Roysden and Cody and Heather Roberts; 15 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Ruth Ann Phillips and Mary Phillips; brother-in-law:  Doyal Kidd; special friend, Wilma King; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Roysden family on Saturday, March 26, 2022 from 3 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Reynolds officiating. Music will be provided by Junior and Doris Potter.

Committal service will follow in the Troxel Cemetery in the High Point community. Pallbearers will be friends and family. 

West-Murley Funeral Home is serving the family of Mildred Drucilla Phillips Roysden.
