Mark A. Watters

Mark A. Watters, age 57 of Winfield, TN, passed away on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN.  Born August 9, 1964, he was the son of the late Bulis and Carol Strunk Watters.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter:  Candice Rae Watters Mabry; one granddaughter, Lilly; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and numerous other family members.

Mark is survived by his wife:  Melinda Collins Watters; sons:  Mark Watters II, and Jordan Lowe; grandsons:  Luke Watters, Desmond Laxton, Christian Mabry, Xavier Watters, and baby Watters; father and mother-in-law:  Kenneth and Sarah Collins; sister-in-law:  Jessica Collins (Triston Best) and their sons:  Collin and Waylon; 1 sister; 2 brothers; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Watters family on Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jamie Byrd officiating. 

In honor of Mark being a diehard University of Tennessee fan, the family requests that you proudly wear Tennessee Orange, and dress casually. 

A private committal service will be held.
