Margaret Honeycutt Obituary

Margaret Marie Crabtree Honeycutt, age 83 of Huntsville, TN passed away on Monday, August 14, 2023, at her home. Born in Scott County, TN on January 30, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Ewell and Minerva Byrd Crabtree.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Honeycutt; sisters, Ruth, Mabel, Edith, and Opal; daughter, Audrey Lynn Honeycutt; and grandchild, Curtis Clifton Honeycutt.

Margaret is survived by her children, Wanda Jordan, Jackie Newport (Jeff), and Curtis Alexander Honeycutt; five grandchildren, Lorie Foust, Stephanie Wright, Brittany Bunch (Darrell “Punchy”), Alexandria Shae Honeycutt, and Charles Newport; eight great grandchildren, Titus Foust, Austin Foust, Lukas Stewart, Paisley Wright, Jadyn Wright, Keith Bunch, McKinley Newport, and Briley Newport; brothers, Charles Crabtree (Jerri), J.H. Crabtree, and L.B. Crabtree (Ruth); three sisters, Ollie Chambers, Daisy Lloyd, and Cassie Whisnant; special friends, Ann Goodman and Katelyn Goodman; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Honeycutt family on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Sexton officiating. Music will be provided by Tony Daugherty.

Committal service will follow in the Ellis Cemetery in Huntsville. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
