Loretta Jean Means Lloyd

Loretta Jean Means Lloyd, age 80 of Helenwood, TN, passed away on Sunday, July 17, 2022, with her family around her.  

She was born on April 2, 1942, in Oneida, TN to Flonnie Lawson and Huse Means, she was a member of New River Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by Husband Tommy Lloyd, parents Flonnie Lawson, Billy Lawson, Huse Means, Brother Danny Lawson, Sister Beth Ann Means Cassese, and special friend Sue Phillips.

She is survived by daughters Kim McKinney & husband Martin, Delisa Helton & Husband Tony, Tami Edwards & Husband David, Tomi Thompson,  and special niece Dina Potter and husband Joe. Grandchildren: Tressa Walker & Husband Skyler, Devin Welch and Kacie Watters, McKenzie Welch and Stevie Chambers, Jordan Taubert & Husband Scotty, Chynna Williams & husband Scott, Weston Helton, Kirklynn Buttram & Austin Slaven, Parker Helton fiancé Shelby Stevens, Shay Buttram, Saylor Wilson, Great Grandchildren, Kendyl West, Tait West, Prayliegh Welch, Elli West, Brody and Dylan Chambers, Tinlee and Briggs Taubert & Special Nephew Eric Lawson and wife Monica, Sister:  Mary A. Means Akerman,  Sister-in-law Pam Lawson, Brothers-in-law Jimmy Lloyd and wife Elaine, Marshall Lloyd and wife Jetti, Joey Lloyd and wife Jane, David Lloyd and Anna Guzman, Special Friends Homer Phillips, Sarah ‘Sug’ Sexton, Sue ‘Bird Brain’ Byrge Letson, Carolyn Newport Clark. Special friend and caregiver Carol Richardson. Loretta leaves behind many other family members and friends and her special Flonnie Girls.

Friends may visit with the Lloyd family on Thursday, July 21, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. David Walker and Bro. Kermit Phillips officiating.  Music will be provided by Brad Hall and Michael Maney.  Speaking will be Jordan Taubert, Tressa Walker and Sarah ‘Sug’ Blakley Sexton.

Graveside service will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. in the Reed Cemetery in Helenwood, TN. Pallbearers will be:  Martin McKinney, Tony Helton, David Edwards, Skyler Walker, Devin Welch, Scotty Taubert, Weston & Parker Helton, Saylor Wilson, Eric Lawson. Honorary Pallbearers:  Scott Williams, Stevie Chambers, Joe Potter, Austin Slaven, Brody Chambers, Briggs Taubert, Tait West.
