Freddie Jean Goad, age 85 of Crossville, TN passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022 at the Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, TN. Born in Scott County, TN on May 17, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Pearl Phipps.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Goad; infant grandson, Kaleb Lee Miller; father-in-law, Reason Goad; mother-in-law, Iva Goad; sisters, Joan Kennedy and husband Junior, Joyce Brainard, Sue Knight, Jenny Simmons and husband Huel; sisters-in-law, Velma Young, Evilyn Brewster and husband Virgil, Wilma Bertram and husband George, Lucille Asberry and husband Vasko, Barbara Jean Conner; brothers-in-law Ken Goad and wife Anna, Glen Goad and wife Faye, and Carl Ray Goad; and special niece, Joan Goad Bowling.
She is survived by her daughter, Melody Bradley and husband Gerald; granddaughter, Tanique Goad and husband Alex; grandson, Joshua Crowley and wife Rosa; great grandson, Easton Evans; one sister, Jenell Cherry; brothers-in-law, Bill Brainard and Avery Knight; special nieces, Christy Gayheart and Patricia Staples; special friends, Melissa Hamby and Cindy Yaden; many other relatives and friends.
Friends may visit with the Goad family on Friday, June 24, 2022, from 4 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 5 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Golden officiating. Music will be provided by Tanique Goad.
Committal service will follow in the Black Creek Crossroads Cemetery in Robbins. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
