Francis (Tiny) Sims Obituary

Ollie Francis (Tiny) Sims, age 94 of Helenwood, TN departed this life peacefully on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at home with her loving family by her side. Born in New River, TN on March 9, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Earnest and Inis Parton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred Sims; brothers, Andrew Parton and wife Selma, Gordon Parton, and Doyle Parton; and daughter-in-law, Tabatha Sims.

She is survived by her son, Jeff Sims and fiancée Mary Litton; granddaughter, Lacey Martin and husband Brandon; her pride and joy and great granddaughters, Tinleigh and Adleigh Martin; niece, Regina Burchfield and husband Gary; special friends, Wanda Brown, Wendell Smithers, Jerry Carson, Roger Phillips and family; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Sims family on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Smithers officiating. Music will be provided by Felecia Walker.

Committal service will follow in the Reed Cemetery in Helenwood. Pallbearers will be: Brandon Martin, Shane Martin, Wendell Smithers, Gary Burchfield, Frank Smithers, and Ed Phillips.
