Florence Harvey Obituary

Florence Irene Harvey, age 97 of Helenwood, TN passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, TN. Born in Wampum, Pennsylvania on July 12, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Adam Clark Ault and Florence Isabelle Ault. She was a retired home and business painter, wonderful mother and grandmother, and was always thinking of others. She also enjoyed traveling.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her children: Christopher Harvey and Jeannette Funk; grandchildren: Eric Sherwood, Troy West, and Seth Slaby; siblings: Eugene Ault, David Ault, Elizabeth Brophy, and Shirley Macri; sons-in-law: Jim Slaby and Terry West.

She is survived by her children: Rhoda Slaby, Adam Harvey and wife Linda, and Beth West; grandchildren: Matthew Slaby, Jeremy Kerns, Joe Kerns, Tim Slaby, Lisa Slaby, Delia Slaby, Dawn Sherwood, April Funk, Holly Funk, Sarah Harvey, and Joel West; great grandchildren; and sister: Ruth Donnelley; many other relatives and friends.

Committal service will be in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery in Helenwood.
