Eddie Mitchell "Bean" Sexton

Eddie Mitchell “Bean” Sexton, age 37 of Helenwood, TN passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2019 at his home with his family by his side. Born in Knoxville, TN on November 7, 1982, he was the son of the late Eddie and Shella Kay Sexton.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Marley and Hattie Sexton and Riley and Flora Marie (Acres) Phillips; uncles, James and Wayne Sexton, Elbert, Otho, Lloyd (T-man), Herbert and James Phillips; aunts, Sheila Mae Trammel, Kaye Chitwood and Judy Novella Kidd; and cousin, Chris Sexton.

Mitchell is survived by the mother of his children, Felicia Slaven; children, Grayson, Caven and Jakota Sexton; aunts and uncles, George and Sheila Sexton, Wilma and Arthur King, Lynn and Charlie Acres, Ervin and Kathy Sexton, Steve and Missy Sexton, Tim and Laura Sexton, Drucilla and Milford Roysden, Joann Boyatt, Carmer and Sandra Phillips; special cousins, Jeremy and Stephanie Sexton, Anthony and Mary Sexton, Nathan and Holden Sexton, Derreck Trammel; special friends, Derreck Slaven, Rikki Keeton, Kable and Gabe Krahn, Mike and Sherry Rollins, Mitch and Tiffany Hamilton, Tim and Shantel Slaven, Jimmy Byrd, Renea Erwin, Tammy Burchfield and Melanie Blakely; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Sexton family on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jeremy Burke officiating.

Committal service will be on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at 2 p.m. in the Scott Memorial Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Jeremy Sexton, Nathan Sexton, Derreck Slaven, Mitch Hamilton, Anthony Sexton and Cody Bond. Honorary pallbearers will be: Caleb Sexton, Kota Sexton and Tim Slaven.
