Claude 'Wayne' Madden

Claude ‘Wayne’ Madden, age 62, passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022, at the Huntsville Manor.  Born April 28, 1959, he was the son of the late Coleman and Arite Phillips Madden.  Wayne was a painter for many years, and when he was able, he loved to deer hunt and fish.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother:  Donald Madden; companion:  Bertie Stephens; and sister-in-law:  Donna Madden.

Wayne is survived by his sisters:  Barbara Garrett and husband Pat, Mary Lou Thomas Blevins and husband Steve; brothers:  Ronnie Madden and wife Brenda, and Mike Madden, who was also his caregiver for the last several months; children:  Reshanda Harness, Crystal Collins, Betsy Newberry, Phillip Collins, and Jessica Graves; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; special friend:  Bob West; several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

His wishes were cremation.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. at the Fellowship building of First Baptist Church of Oneida.
