Brian 'Keith' Williams Obituary

 

Brian ‘Keith’ Williams, age 50 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023, at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  Born in Cleveland, TN, on January 16, 1972, he was the son of David Williams and the late Joyce King.  Keith was a Veteran of the United States Navy, serving aboard the USS Moinester (FF-1097).  He was a very talented automotive painter and had done work for so many in Scott County and beyond.  He was the kindest person, with a big heart, and would help anyone who needed it.  His family and friends will miss him and can’t wait to be with him and mom someday.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by his step-father:  Jack King; maternal grandparents:  Rev. George and Hazel King; paternal grandparents:  Charles ‘Stubby’ Williams, and Juanita Williams; and many other family members.

Keith is survived by his fiancée:  Stacy Goodman of Oneida; brother:  Tony (Shellie) Williams of Huntsville; sister:  Collette (Chris) Smith of Oneida; father:  David (Charlene) Williams of Cleveland, TN; nephews:  Colby (Kaylee) Lay, Matt (Shelby) Williams, and Lance (Kira) Williams, all of Huntsville, TN; great nephew and niece: Vincent and Ciri Lay of Huntsville; best friend:  Chuck Hall of Oneida; step-sons:  Jeffery, E. J., and Caleb Goodman, Pallo West, and Cody Luttrell of Oneida, and future mother-in-law:  Carol Thornton.  He had many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to mourn his passing.

Friends may visit with the Williams family on Tuesday, January 17, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Davis and Bro. Mark Smith officiating.

Committal service will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #136 of Oneida.  Pallbearers will be:  Colby Lay, Matt Williams, Lance Williams, Jeffery Goodman, E. J. Goodman, and Caleb Goodman.
