Brenda Wright

Brenda Gail (Strunk) Wright, age 70, departed this life on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center after a lengthy battle of cancer. She loved watching football games and attended as many Oneida home games as she could. She also loved watching UT football games. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for you.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Wright, who was the father of her two amazing children. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Imogene (Phillips) Strunk; infant sister, Shirley; brother, David Strunk; daughter-in-law, Maria Wright; and infant grandson, Brent Wright.

She is survived by her son, Arthur Delyn Wright and daughter, Gina Gail (Harris) Meredith and husband Rusty Meredith. She is also survived by her grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Destiny, Justice, Jericho, Jayden, Heavenleigh Harris and Xavier (Harris) Meredith, Kailey, Shelly and Cody Wright. She is also survived by her siblings, Judy Sharon Wright, Amy Lou Thomas, Tim (Tammy) Strunk. Also survived by her sister, Sheila (Kevin) Freels, who was also her best friend. She is also survived by special friend, Sean Harris, whom she thought the world of and loved him as if he were her son and a host of many other relatives and friends.

Her wishes were cremation. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
