Brenda Pennington

Brenda Carol Pennington, age 75 of Oneida, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at Huntsville Manor. Born in Oneida, TN on September 10, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Harold Pennington and Nova “Murley” Pennington. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Oneida. Brenda was a graduate of Oneida High School and Tennessee Technology University. She was a former teacher at Oneida High School for 10 years and also taught for 10 years in Dalton, GA. She taught English and Drama.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Murley Harold Pennington.

Brenda is survived by one brother, Luther Calvin Pennington and wife Rena of Winfield, TN; two nephews, Stephen Pennington and wife Sheri of Georgia, Stan Pennington and wife Jamie of Seymour, TN; one niece, Lisa Danner and husband Treye of Winfield; one aunt, Kathleen Pennington; special friend, Kathy Jones; many other relatives and friends.

Graveside service will be on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Reed Cemetery in Helenwood with Dr. Sean Lee officiating. Music will be provided by Allen Martin.
