Bill Reynolds Obituary

Bill Wayne Reynolds, age 68 of Oneida, TN, passed away on March 11, 2024, at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Center in Oneida. Born September 29, 1955, in Oneida, he was the son of the late Rev. J. C. and Velma Clark Reynolds. Bill was the founder and operator of BKR Service Company, INC, and Rey Oil & Gas, INC; and was of the Baptist Faith. Bill was an amazing husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother: Kent Reynolds; brother-in-law: Denny Posey; step-son: Jason Adkins; mother-in-law: Evelyn Strunk; grandparents: Lora and Trilby Jeffers Reynolds, and Ebb and Ollie Clark.

Bill is survived by his wife: Cheryl Reynolds; son: Kevin Reynolds and wife Hope; daughter: Kelly Reed and husband Wayne; step-daughter: Stacy Marlow and husband Chris; grandchildren: Lila Reynolds, Jacie Reed, Raysa and Corey Lay, and Logan and Gracie Marlow; great grandchildren: Chloe, Brannon, and Cooper Lay; sister: Joy Posey; special cousin: Wanda Jeffers; adopted daughter: Missy Foster; special friends: Misty Sexton, Phyllis Wilson, Leona Hickman, Benny Newport, Marty Shoemaker, Loyd King and Mike Gamblin; his special caregivers; and special dogs: Mattie May Reynolds and Sadie Reed; as well as many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Reynolds family on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jim Bargo and Bro. Larry Sexton officiating. Music will be provided by Doris and Junior Potter and R. O. Slaven.

Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jody Posey, Dakota Sexton, Benny Newport, Allen Stephens, Lamar Sexton, and Tony King. Honorary pallbearers will be: Gary Haddock, Marty Shoemaker, and Glenn Phillips.
