Betty Jane (Reed) Robbins

Betty Jane Reed Robbins, age 94, of Robbins, TN, passed away on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at her home.  Born December 29, 1931, in Barnabus, WV, she was the daughter of the late  Charles and Daisy Belle Smith Reed.  Betty enjoyed working in her yard, and helping out at the Barton Chapel Congregational Church. 

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband:  R. L. Robbins;  brothers:  Kermit, Joe, and Vernon Reed; sisters:  Juanita Smith and Pearl Shackleford.

Betty is survived by her son:  Robert (Pat) Robbins; grandsons:  Kris (Michelle) Robbins and Brian (Shauny) Robbins; great grandchildren:  Ayden Robbins, Brena Robbins, and Gina Robbins; great, great granddaughter:  Milani; as well as other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Robbins family on Thursday, June 25, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Laxton officiating.  Music will be provided by the Barton Chapel Choir.

Committal service will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the Reed Cemetery.
