Alma Jean (Davis) Watson

Alma Jean Davis Watson, age 87 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2023, surrounded by her family at the home of her daughter in Sale Creek, TN.  Born October 31, 1935, in Oneida, she was the daughter of the late Earl and Gladys Connors Davis.  Alma was a member of the Pine Creek United Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years:  Thomas Watson; 6 brothers:  Harold, Buddy, Charles, Bill, Kenneth, and Caldwell Davis.

Alma is survived by her daughter:  Sheilah Watson; 4 granddaughters:  Stephanie (Joe) Schmitt, Tiffany (Adam) Higdon, Kasi (Reg) Pilinko, and Sarah (Rodney) Lee; 11 great grandchildren:  Trevor (Kenady) Brown, Jayden (Paola) Penney, Tori (Justin) Etling, Mahala Garner, Baylor Penney, Jakob Garner, Reagan Forgey, Corey Lopez, William Pilinko, Trinity Pilinko, and Grayson Penney; 2 great, great grandchildren:  Hazel Cross and Kohen Garner; honorary granddaughter:  Lori Weathers; special dog and companion:  Lucky; as well as other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Watson family on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Andy Penny and Bro. Jason Brown officiating.  Music will be provided by the Davis Family, and her great grandson:  Trevor Brown.

Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be her great grandsons.
