Alice Dean Ellis Obituary

Alice Dean Davies Ellis, age 86, departed this life on Monday, July 18, 2022, at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN. She was born August 16, 1935, in Oneida, to Daniel Chester and Mattie Lucretia Stockwell Davies.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Kelley Lee Ellis; sister: June Davies Phillis; brothers-in-law: William Earl Phillips and William Woodrum.

Alice is survived by her daughter: Carrie Lee Ellis; sister: Mattie Lucille Davies Woodrum; nephews: Ray Woodrum, Paul Woodrum (Beverly), Keith Marlow, Mitchell Marlow (Sue); sister-in-law: Zora Stanley Marlow; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Ellis family on Saturday, July 23, 2022, from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Virgil Gibson and Bro. Norman Burk officiating.

Committal service will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.

In Lieu of Flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Gerry McDonald Mission House, or the Charity of your choice.
