Yvonne West Obituary

Yvonne West, age 85 of Oneida, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019 at her daughter’s home in Knoxville. Born in Scott County, TN on January 4, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Raymond E. West and Nora Laxton West Cross and husband E.F. (Doc) Cross.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Chester Roy West and wife Maria and Noble West and wife Oma; sisters, Bethana West Phillips Lawson and husband Victor and Elois West Terry and husband Fred; and special grandson, Dustin A. Buttram.

Yvonne is survived by two daughters, Loraine Chambers Bass and husband Ivan and Teresa Chambers Buttram and husband Chuck; one very special nephew, Donald Chambers Carroll; special friend, Jean Thorne; cousin, Glenna; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the West family on Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 2 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 4 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Hazel Valley Memorial Cemetery in Oneida.
