Wayne Dean Harness, age 63 of Robbins, TN, passed away on Friday, January 13, 2018 at the Physicians Regional Medical Center in Knoxville, TN.  Born April 6, 1954, he was the son of the late Nelson and Mary Harness.  Wayne was of the Church of God faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers:  Charles, Junior and Raymond; sisters:  Rosea Lea, Joyce Faye and Wanda Gayle; and step-daughter:  Elizabeth.

He is survived by his caregiver and fiancée:  Anna L. Harness; son:  Jacob; daughter:  Christel Gail Shoemaker and husband Eddie; step-son:  Stevie Laxton and wife Paula; granddaughter:  Martha Ann Shoemaker; grandsons:  Cody and Stephen; great-grandson: Maddox Stewart; brother: Wendell (Gid) Harness; sister:  Marilyn Byrge; as well as several nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Harness family on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral service to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Charles Golden officiating.  Music will be provided by:  Marilyn Byrge and Leshia Martin.

Following the funeral service his wishes were cremation.
