Thomas (Tommy) Mitchell Terry

Thomas “Tommy” Mitchell Terry, age 66 of Helenwood, Tennessee passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018 at Big South Fork Medical Center. Born in Scott County, TN on May 13, 1952 he was the son of the late Jake Terry and Hallie Mae Guffey Terry. He was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Helenwood Baptist Church. Tommy loved his wife and family, grandbabies, loved horses, and loved the Lord. He enjoyed making walking sticks, spending time with his family and loved to watch his son race.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Rose Terry; children, Jared Mitchell Terry and wife Amanda and Gina Foust and husband Benji; sisters, Susan Marlow and Diana (Anthony) Chambers; brothers, Bruce (Charlene) Terry and Sammy (Vickie) Terry; four grandchildren, Jayden and Taylor Terry, Jackson and Andy Foust; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Terry family on Thursday, December 6, 2018 from 5 p.m. until time of funeral service at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. David Barnhouse officiating.

Burial will be on Friday, December 7, 2018 at 11 a.m. in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery. Family will be serving as pallbearers.
