Tom Jones, age 48 of Oneida, TN passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida.  Born January 14, 1969 in Hamilton, OH, he was the son of Martha Louise Jones of Oneida and the late Ulysses Jones.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents:  A. Y. and Ora Mae Yancey; and nephew:  Michael Scott Jones.

In addition to his mother, Tom is survived by 2 sons:  Franklin B. Jones and wife Erika of San Diego, CA, and Jonathan S. Jones and wife Kallie of Hawaii; granddaughter:  Marleigh May Jones of San Diego, CA; Sister:  Pam Phillips and husband Lynn of Oneida; brother:  Johnny Jones and wife Vickie of Paint Rock; nephews:  Bill Jones and wife Jessica of Paint Rock, Ben Phillips and wife Kathryn of Chattanooga; great nephew:  Cordell Jones; and great niece:  Violet Jones of Paint Rock; as well as many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Jones family on Saturday, January 6, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jason Burress officiating.  Music will be provided by Jason Burress.

Burial will follow in the Sexton Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
