Shirley Jeffers

Shirley Brummett Jeffers, age 71 of Helenwood, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at her home.

She was a member of Pine Creek United Baptist Church in Oneida, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Otis and Ruby Griffith Brummett, an infant daughter; and special friend Neva Norris.

She is survived by her husband Charles Ray Jeffers; children: Charles Ray Jeffers Jr, Sherrie Walden and husband Rick; 3 grandchildren: Ricky Dale Walden, Seth Lloyd, Dalton Walden and wife Cherith; chosen daughter Lisa Terry; brothers: J.V Brummett Donald and wife Hazel (who was like a sister to her), Floyd and wife Fai, Jeff and wife Lisa; sister Naomi Bishop and husband Jim; special friends JoAnn, Tola and Winnie, and her quilting buddies.   

Friends may visit with the Jeffers family on Sunday, September 23, 2018 from 5 p.m. until the time of the memorial service at 7 p.m. at Pine Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Keith Marcum and Bro. Guy Ainsworth officiating.  Music will be provided by Renee Byrd.

Mrs. Jeffers’ request was to be cremated. Her cremains will be buried at the Reed Cemetery at a later date.
