Rodney Davis

Rodney Davis, age 69 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Scott County Tennessee on December 7, 1949. He was the son of Gertrude Thomas Davis and the late Hubert Davis.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law Joel and Joyce Daugherty; sister-in-law Lena Mae Cross, brothers-in-law Ira Payne, Ralph, Wayne, Ervin, Terry and Melvin Daugherty.

He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years Pamela Daugherty Davis; daughters Nina Michele Butler and husband Jay, and Denise York; sons Rodney Christopher and wife Lori, James and wife Misty, Joel and wife Cyndy; sisters Carol Jean Payne, Teresa Terry and husband Robbie, Sherrie Warren and husband Phillip, brother; Bryan Davis and wife Kim; sister-in-law Donna Daugherty; brothers-in-law Eugene Daugherty and wife Becky, Denny Daugherty and wife Kathy, Wendell Daugherty and wife Lisa; mother Gertrude Thomas Davis; 19 grandchildren, 3 great grandsons and many more aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Davis Family on Tuesday, August, 6, 2019 from 5 pm until the time of the funeral service at 8 pm in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home with Bro. Jim West and Bro. Kevin Terry officiating. Graveside service will be on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at 11 am in the Marcum-Kidd cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Tucker Davis, Ethan Butler, Josh Aslinger, nephew Aaron Terry, family friends Bobby Lawson and Mark Kidd.
