Richard Dwayne Parson

Richard Dwayne Parson, age 60 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2018 at the Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.  He was born in Oneida, Tennessee on December 24, 1957 to Imogene Parson and the late Willard Parson.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his brothers Jack Parson of Oneida, Steve Parson of Hartford, Indiana; and Jeff Parson of Oneida.

Survived by his mother Imogene Parson of Oneida, Tennessee; daughter Jami Baker and husband David of Pensacola, Florida; son Ricky Parson and wife Tina of Crandall, Georgia; brother John Dishman and wife Edith of Cullman, Alabama; grandchildren: Cody, Jacob, Megan, and Kailey; special aunt Wanda Duncan uncle Milford; a host of nephews and nieces, and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Parson family on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. John Johnson officiating.  Music will be provided by Dustin Smith.

Burial will follow in the Reed Cemetery in the New River Community.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
