Quinton Harness Obituary

Quinton Harness, age 55 of the Mill Branch Community passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at his home with his loving family by his side. Born in Scott County, TN on September 4, 1963, he was the son of the late Kenneth L. Harness and Beatrice Lowe Harness. He was a member of Mill Branch Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son, Travis Harness and wife, Sarah; brother, Dwayne Harness and wife Carolyn of West Columbia, SC; sister, Loretta Bow and husband Russell of Ft. Wayne, IN; one grandchild, Laithen Harness; special aunt and uncle Gary and Margaret Byrd of the Fairview Community and Wallace Dean Lowe of the Mill Branch Community; and many nephews, nieces and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Harness family on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 12 p.m. until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Watson officiating. Music will be provided by George Byrd and Linda Day.

Burial will follow at Phillips Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Justin Harness, Dustin Bowling, Todd Harness, Henry Hutson, Gary Byrd and Rick Foust. Honorary pallbearers will be: Gary Byrd, Dwayne Collins, Brandon and Ryan Bow.
