Priscilla R. Chambers

Priscilla Rose Davis Chambers, age 79 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019 at her home with her loving family by her side.  She was born in Scott County, TN on December 27, 1939 to the late Louie and Zillah Adkins Davis.  Priscilla enjoyed golfing, church, singing in the choir, volunteering at the Scott County Hospital for many years, traveling and her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Col. George Chambers; brothers:  Aster, Jessie, Milace, Bobbie and Denver Davis; sisters:  Mary Alice King, Lorene King, Hettie Bushman and Margie Wright.

Priscilla is survived by her children:  Rick (Karen) Stephens, Bruce Stephens, Debi (Carl) Moore, and Delayne (Jerry) Dodson; grandchildren:  Joy (Tommy) Silcox, Tia (Tim) Damron, Tiffany Baird, Taylor (Jeff) Summers, Joe (Sarah J.) Moore, Marand (Brad) Carmichael, Charity (Mike) Jeffers, and Lorie Mason; great grandchildren:  Rissa West, Cameron Silcox, Garrett Baird, Ethan Silcox, Aleah Hatfield, Emmie Baird, Jace Summers, Ryder, Addi, Brooklyn Carmichael, Henry Moore, Ryan and Kiera Jeffers, Haden and Gavin Mason; great, great grandchild:  Axel Thompson; long-time companion and friend:  Rollie Sizemore; special niece and nephew:  Sylvia Terry and Dewayne King; many nieces and nephews; her loving in-home caregivers:  Tiffany and Emmie Baird; other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Chambers family on Friday, May 31, 2019 from 5 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Philip Kazee officiating.  Music will be provided by Israel Clark and the Golden Choir.  

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 10 a.m. at the Carson Memorial Park in Oneida, TN.
