Mary Griffith Estes

Ms. Mary Griffith Estes, age 64 of Oneida, TN passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 at her home. Born in Scott County, TN on November 16, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Griffith and Edna Neely Griffith. She was a member of the House of the Lord Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shonda Kay Chambers; brothers, Vaughn Dexter Griffith, Floyd Glen Griffith, Robert Griffith and two infant brothers; sisters, Hazel Brewster, Helen McGill and two infant sisters.

Mary is survived by her children, Jennifer Calhoun and husband Brian, James D. Chambers and wife Jessica, Christy M. Botts and husband Carrie and Chadwick Chambers and wife Michelle; grandchildren, Byron, Dustin and wife Kayla, Mikayla, Eric, Chelsey, Jeremy, Josh, Jasmine, Savannah, Leah, Lucas, Tylene, Dakota, Wylloh, Morgan, Dominick, Dayce, Dac, Praylee and Patience; great grandchildren, Urijah, Keiley, Brayson, Jenson, Rowan, Ivan and Drace; sisters, Wilma Jean Newport and June Talley; special niece, Decie Buttram; special friends, Brenda Owens, Elmer Phillips and Marva; and many other relatives and friends. Special thanks to Mike and Decie Buttram.

Friends may visit with the Griffith family on Thursday, November 14, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 12 noon in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Jeff Griffith, Bro. Ricky Sharpe and Bro. David Brewster officiating. Music will be provided by Jimmy Ray Heath, Tony Harness, Wes Harness and Jesse Gibson.

Committal service will follow in the Union Hill Cemetery located in Morgan County, TN. Pallbearers will be: Chadwick Chambers, Dustin Phillips, Byron Sexton, Brian Calhoun, Joshuah Calhoun and James Chambers.
