Marvin Mayfield

Marvin Mayfield, age 64 of Huntsville, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Park West Medical Center.  Born August 31, 1954, he was the son of the late Billy and Lillian (Flynn) Mayfield. He was a member of the Anointed Church of the Living God on Letner Road.  He was a member of the Huntsville Fire Department for 20 years.  Marvin loved restoring antique cars, fishing and decorating for Christmas.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his brother Jerry Mayfield and sister Marjorie Silvers.

Marvin is survived by his wife of 44 years: Eva Mae (Johnson) Mayfield; sons Marvin Bradly Mayfield and wife Jennifer of Dalton, GA; Jody Reed Mayfield and wife Mary Ann of Powell, TN; Stephen Duane Mayfield and wife Tia of Huntsville, TN; and David Eric Mayfield of Omaha, Nebraska; special Mom & Dad BR and Shirley Johnson; brothers and sisters; Bobbi Hinricks (Larry), Conley Mayfield (Connie), Linda Abbott, Melvin Mayfield (Rosetta), Diane Young, and Delana Keith(Robert); grandchildren; Ariel(Andres) Valencia, Dalton Mayfield, Lily Mayfield, Kameron Mayfield, Parker Duane Mayfield, and Alexa Mayfield; great-grandchildren Spencer and Melody Valencia; brothers and sister-in-law’s; Anita Phillips and Gary (deceased), Chris and Jerry Terry, John and Sheila Johnson, Angel and Steve Hicks; several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.

Friends may visit with the Mayfield family on Monday, November 19, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jones and Son Funeral Home.  The Funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Anointed Church of the Living God at 12:00 noon with John Johnson officiating.  Music will be provided by John Johnson, Steve and Nora Chubbs. Burial will follow in the Scott Memorial Gardens.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
