Marshall Hurstle King

Marshall Hurstle King, age 57 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018 at his home.  Born in Scott County, Tennessee on March 14, 1961 to the late Hurstle Tommy and Myrtle Imogene King Meadors.  He was of the Baptist Faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Danny and Jesse King; sister: Donna Meadors.

Survived by fiancé Mary Phillips of Oneida, Tennessee; daughter:  Chasity Rose of Scott County, Tennessee; three step-children: Tyler Duncan and wife Marelyn, Chad Duncan and wife Amy, and Heather Lay and husband Marvin all of Oneida; brothers: Michael Meadors and wife Bernice of Monticello, Kentucky and Edward Meadors and wife Jessica of Somerset, Kentucky; sister:  Katherine Gilreath and husband Richard of Pine Knot, Kentucky; three step grandchildren; sister-in-law:  Lana King of Pine Knot, Kentucky; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the King family on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Carlie Duncan officiating.

Music will be provided by Tammy Hudson.

Interment will follow in the Pine Knot Cemetery in Pine Knot, Kentucky.
