Linda Lowe

Linda M. Lowe, age 96 of Huntsville, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Franklin and Mary Jane Massengale and was a lifelong member of the Smokey Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Lowe; infants, Johnny Wayne and Roger Dean Lowe; son, Billy Lowe and wife, Joyce; daughter, Jennifer Louise Lowe; five brothers and seven sisters.

Linda is survived by three children, Clem F. Low and wife, Linda, of the Smokey Creek Community, Kern T. Lowe and wife, Loretta, of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Charlotte Hawn and husband, Charles, of Wartburg, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren, Buffeia Baird and husband, Scott, Tonya Centers and husband, Phillip, Michelle Byrge and husband, Larry, Shane Lowe and wife, Judy, Douglas Low, Jennifer Treadwell and husband, Todd, Jeff Low and wife, Vivian, Tina Jones, Samantha Keane, Danny Smith and wife, April, Kevin Smith, Misty Rose and husband, Jamie; 28 great-grandchildren; 8 great-great-grandchildren; and many other friends and relatives.

Friends may visit with the Lowe family on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at 11 a.m. at the Smokey Creek Baptist Church with Bro. Billy Joe Lowe and Bro. Edmond Lowe officiating.  Music will be provided by the Smokey Creek Baptist Church choir.

Interment will follow in the Hembree Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Douglas Low, Jeff Low, Shane Lowe, Danny Smith, Kevin Smith, and Chris Baird.  Honorary pallbearers will be Jakota Baird and Michael Treadwell.
