Lautin Laxton

Lautin Laxton, age 94 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Huntsville Manor Nursing Home.

He is survived by his wife, Alice Laxton and brother John Thomas and Phyllis Laxton of Spokane, WA; three children, son Phillip and wife Pam of Nashville; daughter Gail Laxton Duncan of Clinton; daughter Rosemary Laxton of Clinton; three grandchildren Chase Duncan and wife Tonya of Florida; Autumn Lawson of Clinton; Heather Skelton and husband Paul of Nashville; two great granddaughters 6-month-old twins Ainsley and Kinsley Duncan of Florida; a host of close friends: Kenny Fraker, Tony Langley, Glenna Silcox, Charles Dobbs, Sam Story, Vickie Young; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit with the Laxton family on Sunday, September 30, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Sewell officiating.

The family requested cremation after the service. 

The family requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in lieu of flowers.
