Lanta Reynolds

Lanta Edna Trammell King Reynolds, age 78 of Winfield, TN passed away on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida, TN.  Born September 15, 1939 at Trammell Mountain in Winfield, TN, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Gladys Duncan Trammell.  Lanta was a longtime member of the Second Bethlehem Baptist Church.  She was the church Sunday School Secretary for over forty years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Clayton A. King; infant son:  Jeffery C. King; step-son:  Bryan Reynolds; brothers:  Sherman Trammell and wife Gwena, and Hillary Trammell; brothers-in-law:  Ronnie King, J. B. King, Dennis King and wife Betty Flo, and J. C. Reynolds and wife Velma.

Lanta is survived by her husband:  Dewey E. Reynolds; children:  Matilda Thompson and husband Everett, Kelvin King and wife Susan, Arnie King, Ginger Reynolds and husband Vic, and Mia Daugherty and husband Ronnie; grandchildren:  Katie Roe, Sarah Dunlap, Dustin Walker, Reiley Grasshoff, Caleb Reynolds, Lendsey Daugherty, Jacob Reynolds, Kayla King, Clay King and Chase Daugherty; great grandchildren:  Syndey, Lily and Avery Roe, Aleigha King, Hayden and Kamdem Dunlap, Kolton Reynolds, Annabelle Grasshoff and Shelbie Walker; sisters:  Pearl Collins and husband Jack, Patricia Taylor and husband Jerry; sisters-in-law:  Doris Trammell, Anna Rose Sexton and husband Dick, Doris Hulbrit and husband Dana, Wilma King and Linda King; brothers-in-law:  Jack King, Lynn King, Sam King, David King and wife Rochelle King, and Tony King and wife Janie; and many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Reynolds family on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at the Second Bethlehem Church in Winfield, TN with Bro. Jerry Massengale and Bro. David Coffman officiating.  Music will be provided by Tammy and Justin Wright.

Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Winfield, TN.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons.  Honorary Pallbearers will be:  Jeremy Rowe and Christopher Trammell.
