Katrina (Trina) Lou Sexton, age 57 of Huntsville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Tennova North in Knoxville.  Born on October 3, 1959 in Oneida, Tennessee to James Harold Smith and Blannie Lou (Acres) Smith.  Trina was a long-time member of White Rock Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, James H. Smith; father-in-law, James Curtis Sexton; grandparents, Arzo and Hattie Acres, Rev. Lee and Mable Smith, Ezra and Paralee Sexton, Carl and Chloe Rector; aunts, Lola Jeffers, Shirley Fancher, Judy Smith, Lynn Jackson; uncles, Donald Acres, Mike Acres, Willie Fancher, George Morgan Rector, and Don Sexton.

Trina is survived by her husband, James Curtis (Rusty) Sexton II of Huntsville, Tennessee; daughter, Alicia King and husband, Corey King; son, Bryan Sexton; grandchildren, Jasmine Gibson and Jaden King; mother, Blannie Lou Smith; step mother Carolyn Smith; brothers and sisters, Deneise Terry, Kristi Smith, Dustin Smith, and Ryan Smith; sister-in-law Anita Sexton; brother-in-law Carl Sexton; mother-in-law Joan Sexton; aunts: Nancy Murley and husband Jerry, Henrietta Debord and husband Wayne and Edith Rector; nephew, Christopher Terry and wife, Alisha; great nephews, Tristan and Aaron Terry; special friends, LaShonda Fry, Sharra Crowley, Jerry Kline, Claudette Smith, and Carletta Thomas; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all family and friends for the continued love, prayer, and support during their time of need.

Friends may visit with the Sexton family on Monday, June 19, 2017 from 6 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 8 p.m. at the White Rock Baptist Church with Bro. James West officiating.  Music will be provided by Daniel Murley.

Graveside service will be on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Acres-Jeffers Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Brian Sexton, Christopher Terry, Jason Acres, Justin Acres, Ryan Smith, and Dustin Smith.  Jaco Chambers will serve as honorary pallbearer.
