Joyce Louise Miller

Joyce Louise Miller, age 88 of the Leatherwood Community in Oneida, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at the Oneida Nursing and Rehab Facility.  Born March 10, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Sallie Terry Stanley.  Louise was a faithful member of the Black Oak Baptist Church, and worked as a Receptionist at First National Bank in Oneida for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband:  Lenord Miller; sister:  Maxine Jones; and sisters-in-law:  Laura Boyatt, Hester Kidd, and Elizabeth Harris.

Louise is survived by her son:  William E. (Bill) Miller and wife Loretta; two grandchildren Christy Miller, and Billy Miller and wife Lori; five great grandchildren: Kaylee Gibson, Madison Gibson, James Wyatt Miller, Rook Miller and Salem Miller; sisters-in-law:  Eva Payne, Lorene Phillips and Juanita Perry; brother-in-law:  Lillard Miller and wife Dorla; many nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.

Friends may visit with the Miller family on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 12:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at the New Haven Baptist Church with Bro. James Roberts and Bro. Crestin Jeremy Burke officiating.  Music will be provided by the New Haven Baptist Church Choir, Christy Miller and Kaylee Gibson.

Burial will follow in the Miller Family Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be her nephews: Dale Boyatt, Tom Payne, Darrin Phillips, Kenny Payne, Tim Miller and Kim Miller.
