Jody Allan Strunk, age 60 of Oneida, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Lake Cumberland Regional Medical Center in Somerset, Kentucky surrounded by family and friends. Jody was born in Scott County, Tennessee on August 25, 1957.

He was preceded in death by his mother Donna Kay Strunk; brother Jimmy Wright; grandparents: David Lloyd Strunk and Juanita Strunk and Elza and Dessie Cross; aunt Lorraine Chitwood.

Survived by his wife Paula Kay Strunk; daughters Bridget Little and Wendy Meeks; grandchildren: Austin Holeman, Morgan Meeks, Lilith Droddy, and Addison Reed; brother Monroe Wright and sister-in-law Susie Wright; niece Hannah Wright; nephew Corey Wright and wife Mary Catherine; uncles: Bob Chitwood and Danny Strunk and wife Kim; aunts: Jeri Laxton and husband Milford and Anna Dault; many special and loved nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may visit with the Strunk family on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Interment will follow in the Chitwood Cemetery in Winfield.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.
