JoAnn (Jeffers) Burchfield

JoAnn Jeffers Burchfield, age 72 of Oneida, Tennessee, went home to be with her loving Savior on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was born to the late Charlie and Rena Boshears Jeffers.  She was a member of the West Oneida United Baptist Church. Joann retired from the First National Bank after 34 years of service. During her career Joann served as CSR, Branch Manager, Lender, Banking Officer, and IRA Specialist.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband:  MacArthur Burchfield; sister:  Phyllis Lloyd; brothers:  L. C. Koger, Earl Wesley Koger and Bobby Koger.  

JoAnn is survived by her loving son:  Greg Burchfield and wife Michelle of the Paint Rock Community; grandsons, whom she loved so dearly:  Colby and Cynthia of Oneida, Jadon and Eli of the Paint Rock Community; two precious great grandchildren:  Remi and Rylee; sister:  Carolyn Smith and husband Carl of Chatsworth, GA; brothers:  Billy Ray Jeffers and wife Pat, and Roger Jeffers and wife Millie, all of Clinton, TN; sisters-in-law:  Clora Faye Winchester, Virginia Bilbrey, Alma Duvall and husband Charles; brother-in-law:  Charles Burchfield and wife:  Katheryn; special friend:  Zelma Tate, and her bank family of First National Bank; as well as many other family members and friends to mourn her passing.

Friends may visit with the Burchfield family on Sunday, July 14, 2019 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home. 

Funeral service will be on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Ellis and Bro. Wayne Seabolt officiating.  Music will be provided by Tammy Hutson.

Burial will follow in the Smith-Forbis Cemetery in Oneida.  Pallbearers will be:  Greg Burchfield, Colby Wisner, Jadon Burchfield, Elijah Burchfield, Shane Smith, Tyler Smith, Jerry Burchfield and Kevin Bilbrey.
