Jerry Lynn Reagan Obituary

Jerry Lynn Reagan, age 57 of Oneida, TN, formerly of Gamaliel, KY, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at the Three Rivers Hospital in Waverly, TN. Born August 13, 1961, he was the son of the late Leonard Paul and Mayme Ruth Cropper Reagan. Jerry was a member of the Pine Creek United Baptist Church, and a loving father, grandfather, and a wonderful, loving husband. Jerry was ready to meet his Lord and Savior, and he loved his family and church family very much.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers: Jesse Darrell Reagan and J. T. Reagan; sisters-in-law: Charlotte Reagan and Vicky Reagan; brothers-in-law: Floyd Rittenberry and Bill Phalen; and father-in-law: Harold Chambers.

Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 33 years: DeeDee Chambers Reagan; daughters: Ashlee Reagan Byrd and husband Josh of Oneida, Kristen Reagan Burchfield and Adam Burchfield of Oneida; 6 precious grandchildren: Rylee Byrge, Jacob Reagan, Hannah Burchfield, Chloe Burchfield, Blake Burchfield and Luke Byrd; sisters: Lisa Phalen of Glascow, KY and Betty Rittenberry of Lafayette, TN; brothers: Donald Reagan and wife Neva of Tompkinsville, KY, Kenny Reagan and wife Jessie of Fountain Run, KY, and Dennis Reagan of Pigeon Forge, TN; mother-in-law: Mary Chambers; brother-in-law: Jason Chambers and wife Wendy of Oneida; many special nieces and nephews and other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Reagan family on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Marcum and Bro. Guy Ainsworth officiating. Music will be provided by the Chitwood singers.

Burial will follow in the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Jacob Reagan, Chase Crabtree, Eugene Bottom, Keith Crabtree, Dudley Crabtree, Chris Cooper and Jason Perry. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Kaleb and Kody Chambers, Adam Burchfield, Josh Byrd, Jason Chambers, Brandon King, Chris Chitwood, Joel Chitwood, Paul Chitwood, Jeff Chitwood, Jeremy Chitwood and Jonathan Chitwood.
