Jeffrey Lee Evans

Jeffrey Lee Evans, age 51 of Nashville, TN passed away on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Tristar Summit Medical Center in Nashville. Born in Oneida, TN on July 19,1968, he was the son of Argie and Lucille Evans. He had a profound love for his country, the outdoors, family and friends as well as the University of Tennessee football and basketball programs. He had a special place in his heart for Black Oak Baptist Church and Pastor Kyle Keeton.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Melvin and Ella Terry Acres, John and Martha Evans; uncles Mack and Arnold ( Ernly ) Acres, Lonzo, Willard and Roscoe Evans; aunts Hazel Trammell and Esther ( Easter ) and Eval Evans.

Jeff is survived by his parents, Argie and Lucille Evans; brother, Argie Evans Jr. and wife Tiffany Rosenbalm Evans; sister, Ella Rose and husband Derek David Keeton; uncles, Estel and Hett Acres; special nephews he adored, Ryker Aiden Evans, Danner Luke Keeton and Gavin Isaac Keeton; special one and only niece, Emmalyn Rose Evans and many other relatives, friends, and special loved ones.  

A memorial service for his family and friends of his family will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 5 p.m. until the time of the military honors provided by the American Legion Post #136 of Oneida at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.  Funeral service will follow in the chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Kyle Keeton officiating.  A special song will be provided by sister-in-law Tiffany Rosenbalm Evans.
