James D. "Jim" Lutes Obituary

James D. “Jim” Lutes, age 65 of Oneida, TN, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 at the Big South Fork Medical Center in Oneida. Born March 14, 1954 in Cincinnati, OH, he was the son of the late Willie and Irene Neal Lutes. Jim was a Veteran of the United States Army.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife: Sandra Kay Phillips Lutes; sister: Vicky Lutes; and brother: Jerry Lutes.

Jim is survived by his daughter: Brittney Michael Puckett and husband Jason of Oneida; one grandchild: Deja Puckett; sisters: Judy Weatherman of Oneida, Kathy Chitwood and husband Victor, and Donna Daugherty, both of Winfield; as well as many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Lutes family on Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home.

Inurnment will be held on Friday, June 28, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery with full Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #136 of Oneida.

Jim's request was cremation.
