Ida Mae Roysdon Byrd age 77 departed this life on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at the Oneida Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Oneida, Tennessee. She was born on January 6, 1940 in Yamacraw, Kentucky. She was of the Baptist faith.  She was a member of the Oneida Eastern Star Lodge NO.695.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Maudie Alley Roysdon; husband, Thomas Byrd; brother, Floyd Roysdon; sister, Elizabeth Roysdon; infant brothers, Roy and Robert Roysdon.

She is survived by daughters, Sharon Burchfield and husband Ricky of Norton, Virginia; Kathy Spencer and husband Gary of Resaca, Georgia; Tammy Byrd of Greenville, Tennessee; Amy Lyons and husband Jason of Winfield, Tennessee; sons, Thomas Byrd, Cyrus Byrd and wife Lesley and Jeff Byrd all of Pine Knot, Kentucky; 14 grandchildren; 17 great- grandchildren; Kassy Swafford and husband Scoey and their children, Cearra, Chance, BrieAnna and Easton of Calhoun, Georgia, Aaron Burchfield and wife Denise and their children Scottie, Abreena, Joshua, and Eva Grace of Berlin, Germany, Jackie Bell and her children Kayla, and Jacob of Resaca, Georgia, Ryan Burchfield and wife Sue and their children Riley and Evelyn of Sarasota, Florida, Ashley Spencer and husband Greg of Chickamauga, Georgia, Shelly Burchfield of Norton, Virginia, Christopher Byrd of Somerset, Kentucky and his children Jasper and Oliver, Ethan Byrd and wife Jerrica and their children Keyton, Kinley, and Raylin of Pine Knot, Kentucky, Shane and wife Courtney and daughter Kambrie of Pine Knot Kentucky, Isaiah and Jasea Lyons of Winfield, Tennessee, Madison and Macy Byrd of Pine Knot, Kentucky; Jake Adams of Pine Knot, Kentucky, brother; Edward Roysdon of Milford, Ohio; two very special friends Mildred Laxton of Lynn, Indiana and Nora Duncan of Oneida, Tennessee; many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Byrd family on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 1 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Cyrus Byrd and Bro. Shane Byrd.   Music will be provided by Lesley Byrd and sisters.

Interment will follow in the Morris Goodman cemetery Oneida, TN.  Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
