Genia Massey Obituary

Genia Ardilla Massey, age 41 of Pioneer, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at the Cumberland Medical Center in Crossville, Tennessee. Genia was the daughter of Rosie Harness Massey and the late Gene Massey.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents: LeRoy and Emma Harness and Chester and Elminia Massey; great grandparents: Cade and Lula Day and John and Martha Harness.

Survived by her mother Rosie Harness Massey of Massey Lane; daughter Deedra Massey; son Hayden Massey of Massey Lane: very special person in her life Paul Jolly; sisters: Emma Jenkins and husband William of Ringgold, GA and Mary Chastine of the Annadale community; brothers: Alvis Massey and wife Dianna of the Ditney Trail community and Eddie Massey and wife Amanda of Pine Knot, KY; many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Massey family on Saturday February 24, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at 1 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Pete Norman and Bro. Larry Sexton officiating. Burial will follow in the Massey Cemetery in the Buffalo community.
