Gary Don Foster age 70 of Townsend, TN formerly of Kettering, OH, passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at the Blount Memorial Hospital in Maryville, Tennessee.

He was Born on February 5, 1947 in Oneida, TN. He was the son of the late, Dorcia Wilburn and Mildred Irene Foster. He retired from General Motors in Ohio and returned to the Tennessee mountains he loved. Gary was a member of the Townsend Church of God.

Gary was blessed with a wonderful singing voice that inspired others as he shared his love for his Lord Jesus. He was a dear son, brother, uncle and friend. He loved those around him and enjoyed being out in God’s beautiful creation.

He is survived by two sisters, Jo Ann Amburgey of Crystal Lake, IL and Debra Kay Fry and husband David of Kettering, OH. He leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends as well as his dear friend, Rex Hopkins.

Graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, November 18 at 3 p.m. in the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery.
