Clifford C. Smith, Jr.

Clifford C. Smith, Jr., age 63 of the Pioneer Community, passed at his home on Friday, December 14, 2018 with his family by his side.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Geraldine Smith; parents Clifford Cordell and Clara Smith; infant brother Kent Smith.

He was survived by his son Tim Smith and wife Misty; children: Ricky Byrd, Mary Lee and husband Danny, Missy Jones and husband Barry, Angie Newport and husband Allen and Denise Byrd all of Oneida, TN; grandkids: Zoe, Peyton, and Gabe Smith, Amber Watters, Kristy Jones, Danny Lee Jr., Dusty Lee, Dezirae Lee, Cody Byrd, Zack Newport, Kate Newport and Jacinda Steakley; seven great grandkids; brothers: Gilbert Phillips and wife Connie of Robbins, TN, Earl Smith and wife Jae Lynn of Norma, TN, Keith Smith and wife Mona Jean of Grand River, Ohio, Marvin Smith of Huntsville, TN; sisters: Lou W. Reed of Birmingham, AL and Carol Thorton of Oneida, TN; many other relatives and friends.

Friends may visit with the Smith family on Monday, December 17, 2018 from 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Carlie Duncan officiating.

Burial will follow in the Strunk Cemetery.  Serving as pallbearers will be: Dennis Goodman, Larry Kirkpatrick, Ronnie Wilson, Eddy Mullins, Jason Goodman, and Dave Thomas.
