Celia Jo (Reed) Thomas, age 79 of Oneida, Tennessee finished her earthly battle and entered into eternal peace with her Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, May 1, 2019. She was a member of Pentecost Baptist Church. Born in Scott County, TN on January 27, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Denver and Lena Reed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by parents-in-law, Walter and Rachel Thomas; brothers, L.D., Carroll, Sam and Roger Reed; sisters, Lois Farrar, Wanda West and Gail Terrell; brothers-in-law, Bill Farrar, Donald West, George Noble, Ray Thomas, Jack Laxton, Lloyd Collier, Earl Combs and Richard Thomas; sisters-in-law, Rema Reed, Joyce Thomas, Alberta Collier and Audrey Combs.

Celia Jo is survived by her husband of 59 years, Roy Thomas; children, Tracey and Rex Orick, Susie and Tom Deuso and David Thomas; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Jonathan, Whitney, Brody and Boston Orick, Ashley, Josh, Asher and Anders Hale, Jared, Tisha and Jacob Orick, Matt, Jenelle, Arianna and Alexander Thomas, Corey and Kelley Deuso and Chelsea Deuso; sister, Dru Noble (Dave Scotten); sisters-in-law, Lois Reed, Wilma Reed, Alma Laxton and Peggy Edwards; close friends, Josephine Phillips, Lilyan Strunk, Sharon Canada, Kathy Rose, Louise Sexton, Shirley Terry, Libby West, Barbara Shephard and Sharon Burchfield; and many other relatives and friends; with special thanks to Nicole Shephard, Tiny Cox and Brenda Smith.

Friends may visit with the Thomas family on Sunday, May 5, 2019 from 12 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 2 p.m. in the chapel of West-Murley Funeral Home with Bro. Timothy Hicks officiating. Music will be provided by Patricia West and the Thomas family.

Burial will follow in the Marcum-Kidd Cemetery in Oneida. Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Orick, Josh Hale, Jared Orick, Corey Deuso, Matt Thomas and Kelly Reed.
