Boyd (Buzz) Reed

Boyd (Buzz) Reed, age 94 of Oneida, TN, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 15, 2019.  

He was preceded in death by his parents:  Millard and Marie Mays Reed; brothers:  Clifford Reed, Thurman Reed, Stanley Reed, and Clell Reed.

Boyd is survived by his devoted wife of 65 years:  Louise Reed; son:  Kenneth David (Pam) Reed; step-son:  Bill (Susan) Dunlap; grandchildren:  Shane (Sara) Reed, Samantha (Michael) Cresap, Liana (Sean) Spradlin, Brent (Christy) Dunlap and Blake (Sarah) Dunlap; brother:  Edgar Reed; sisters:  Jean (Leland) Regan, Joyce (Wendell) Cecil, Gloria Bridges, and Frances Robbins; 14 great grandchildren; special nephew:  Greg Reagan; and many other family members and friends.

Friends may visit with the Reed family on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Jones & Son Funeral Home with Bro. Keith Marcum and Bro. Jeff Ledford officiating.  Music will be provided by the Helenwood Baptist Church Choir.

Committal service will follow in the Daniel Memorial Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be:  Shane Reed, Brent Dunlap, Blake Dunlap, Sean Spradlin, Michael Cresap and Gregory Reagan.
